Recession 'Causing More Stress'

Research has shown that the recession is causing greater levels of stress in British workers.  In a research project of almost 800 self-employed managers and professionals run by Clydesdale Bank, one in five questioned thought that the recession had caused them to feel more stressed at work.

One in four of the workers also believed that they were working longer hours due to the economic downturn.  Yorkshire was said to be the most stressed region and younger workers were the more likely to be stressed.
